Aitech’s TM162 transition module is designed as a supplement to the C162/C163/C164 6U Core™ i7 VME SBCs and intended for use in commercial air-cooled enclosures. The TM162 eliminates the need for harnessing and complex cabling fixtures when connecting to the various C162/C163/C164 I/O interfaces. 

The TM162 is designed for use with enclosures with a rear module depth of 80mm and is fully compliant with the IEEE 1101.11 specification. It may be adapted for use with enclosures whose rear module depth is greater than 80 mm by adding an extender (not included).

In addition, the transition module provides two high-speed connectors for convenient access to I/O signals for XMC/PMC mounted on the C162/C163/C164 SBCs.

The transition module also provides jumpers to allow I/O routing for the C162/C163/C164 shared I/O pins.

Reset Push button
• The transition module has a reset pushbutton on the front panel (only in the two slot version).
