RUGGED WIFI COMPUTER
This customer approached Diamond Point with a requirement for a railway grade computing solution to solve an issue.
The customer had a number of key requirements:
- Rugged IP67 boxed PC
- Digital I/O
- Multiple serial channels
- Data accessible via Wifi
- VGA and USB for service
- EN50155 compliant
A COM Express solution was chosen and a PCB was designed to meet the customer's requirements. A customised RIA-12 compliant power supply was also designed for this project.
