We work closely with our customers to ensure we have a full understanding of the product safety needs of the end-user device.
Whether we supply a component, sub-system or integrated system to our customer, we will work to comply with these safety requirements:
- Minimise the risks associated with the product we supply
- Generate and keep records of associated technical documentation
- Place appropriate labelling on the product
- Provide instructions on how to use the product safely
We educate ourselves regarding the standards and norms associated with our focus vertical markets, so we can assist customers better and so that our design process incorporates checks and review gates, which enable mutual review of the product safety requirements before a product is placed on the market.
In addition, due to the long production and support life-cycles involved in many of our customer programs, we will continue to work on the safety requirements in respect of any in-service or through-life upgrades, undertaken with our assistance.
